About Me

I was born in Juchipila, Zacatecas and I lived the first eight years of my life in a small rural community known as La Presa, in the municipality of Moyahua, Zacatecas.  The next eight years of my life were years of constant mobility.

In May of 1994 I finished high school at Golden West High School in Visalia, CA.  Months later, I moved to Fresno, California where I currently live.  That year, I enrolled at California State University, Fresno from which I graduated and obtained a teaching credential in May of 2000.

I have been teaching for Clovis Unified School District since 2000.  Currently, I teach Spanish at Clovis High School and Clovis Online School.  During my career with Clovis Unified School District, I have taught Spanish 1, 2, 3, Spanish for Spanish Speakers 1 and 2, Spanish 2 Online, Marimba Band, AP Spanish Language, AP Spanish Literature, and Math Lab.
